Every year, Taylor Telecom awards 20 scholarships, in the amount of $5,000 each, to local high school seniors. Since we began our program in 1996, we have awarded over $2million in scholarships.
Award recipients are selected based on several criteria, including GPA, test scores, leadership and community involvement, and letters of recommendation. The evaluation matrix is included in the attached application package.
Eligibility for the scholarship is as follows:
- Parent or legal guardian has active service with Taylor Telecom both at the time of application and throughout the scholarship award period.
- High school senior must reside with said parent or legal guardian within Taylor Telecom's service area.
The application will be available from January 2 through March 25, 2024. All applications must be received at the Taylor Telecom office by the end of business on April 1, 2024.
Our scholarship committee will select the top candidates up to 20, and award recipients will be notified in May.
